Amends Section 81-27-1.102 of the Mississippi Code to clarify that acting as a trustee does not require a charter, license, or registration under trust business regulations.

Adds new subsection (n) authorizing religious denominations, churches, synagogues, and their affiliated foundations or corporations to act as trustees for endowment funds and other funds related to their religious or charitable purposes.

Aligns the authorization for religious organizations with existing provisions allowing public and private educational institutions and their foundations to serve as trustees for endowment and educational funds.

Takes effect upon passage.
