Recognizes LaPetra Wilson, a junior at Natchez High School, for winning "Miss Mississippi Jr. Teen Cover Girl 2009-2010" and "National American Miss Cover Girl 2009-2010" titles.

Wilson won the national pageant competition held November 23 to December 1, 2009, earning the Achievement Award, Spirit Award, five diamond pendants for optional contests, and most ticket sales award.

Selected as one of seven out of 110 contestants featured as "I Am Spotlight" in the pageant program booklet.

Wilson is a fourth-year cheerleader and active member of Greater St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, serving as Sunday School Secretary and Youth Department President.

Resolution directs that copies be presented to Wilson and her family, sent to Natchez High School Principal Cleveland Moore, and distributed to Capitol Press Corps.
