Recognizes and salutes the 30-year career of Langston Rogers, Senior Associate Athletics Director for Media Relations at the University of Mississippi, who is retiring effective April 2010.

Rogers was inducted into the CoSIDA Hall of Fame in 1990 and received the Arch Ward Award in 2001, the highest award from the College Sports Information Directors of America national organization.

Rogers also received the Trailblazer Award from CoSIDA in 2008, was President of the organization in 1980-1981, and served on its Board of Directors for 11 years.

Prior to joining Ole Miss on July 1, 1981, Rogers served 17 years as Sports Information Director at Delta State University and was inducted into the Mississippi Sports Writers Association Hall of Fame in 1997.

Resolution directs that the recognition be presented to Rogers and forwarded to Ole Miss Athletics Director Pete Boone and the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning.
