Transfers powers and responsibilities of the Mississippi Employment Security Commission to the Mississippi Department of Employment Security within the Office of the Governor.

Repeals Section 60 of Chapter 572, Laws of 2004, which established a sunset date for statutes governing the Mississippi Workforce Investment Board and the employment security commission transfer.

Makes nonsubstantive language revisions to specified code sections related to employment security, workforce training, and agricultural extension services.
