Designates Thursday, April 22, 2010, as "Mississippi Earth Day: The Green Generation" to recognize the 40th anniversary of Earth Day and the Earth Day Network's campaign launched in 2009.

Urges all state agencies and citizens to serve as energy stewards and make better decisions about energy use at home, work, and throughout the state.

Encourages participation in the "Billion Acts of Green" initiative, which mobilizes people to take small steps in homes, schools, and businesses that collectively create significant environmental action.

Directs the Department of Environmental Quality and State Board of Health to disseminate the resolution through public service advertisements and provide it to the Capitol Press Corps.
