Amends Mississippi Code Section 63-3-519 to authorize sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, and constables to use radar speed detection equipment on county roads and highways outside municipal limits.

Radar equipment may be used only on roads under county board of supervisors jurisdiction for maintenance and construction that are located outside incorporated municipality boundaries.

Maintains existing authorization for municipal law enforcement to use radar in municipalities with populations of 2,000 or more, and on federally designated highways in municipalities with populations exceeding 15,000.

Maintains existing authorization for college and university campus police to use radar within campus confines where more than 2,000 students are enrolled.

Effective date: July 1, 2011.
