MS HB1211

Authorizes the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning or its designee to approve payment or reimbursement of reasonable travel expenses for job candidates interviewing for open positions at the board's executive office or state institutions of higher learning.

Applies only when job candidates incur travel expenses at the request of the board, the Commissioner of Higher Education, or a state institution of higher learning administrator.

Takes effect upon passage.
