Amends Section 37-61-33 to require the State Department of Education to allocate classroom supply funds equally among all eligible teachers in each school district on or before November 1 of each school year.

Classroom supply payments must be distributed directly to teachers via a separate payroll check outside regular monthly compensation.

Teachers receiving classroom supply payments must sign an acknowledgment confirming receipt and intended use of funds for classroom supplies.

Local school boards must notify teachers that classroom supply payments are considered taxable income and must be properly itemized on annual income tax filings.

Effective July 1, 2011.
