Amends Section 83-3-24 of Mississippi Code to require the Rating Bureau to consider mileage, condition, and maintenance of fire trucks rather than age when rating municipalities and fire districts, including rural and volunteer fire departments.

Mandates the Rating Bureau publish guidelines for grading fire trucks and awarding credits toward overall fire ratings by January 30 of each calendar year and make them available on its website.

Prohibits the Rating Bureau from recommending fire truck replacement before its next grading process if a fire truck meets the published guidelines.

Establishes alternative water supply standard of 250 gallons per minute sustained for one hour for fire department grading purposes.

Takes effect July 1, 2011.
