Amends Section 9-11-15 of Mississippi Code to require justice court judges to designate at least two days each month, at least ten days apart, for hearing motions before the court

Requires parties filing a motion for continuance to receive at least a ten-day continuance and must be notified no less than five days before trial begins if it is the first continuance motion filed in the case

Maintains existing requirements that justice courts in counties with populations under 150,000 designate at least one-half day monthly as traffic court day

Maintains existing requirements that justice courts in counties with populations of 150,000 or more designate at least one full day monthly (or equivalent half-day split) as traffic court day

Takes effect July 1, 2011
