Extends the repeal date of the Washington County Convention and Visitors Committee from July 1, 2011 to July 1, 2014.

Changes committee member terms from three (3) years to two (2) years beginning January 1, 2012, and limits members to serve no more than two (2) consecutive terms.

Requires the Washington County Convention and Visitors Committee to allocate and pay an amount not to exceed $25,000 annually to Washington County in consideration for use of county facilities and support services.

Maintains the one percent (1%) tax on hotels, motels, restaurants, and on-premises alcohol retailers to fund the committee, with three percent (3%) of proceeds retained by the Department of Revenue for collection costs.

Committee remains composed of nine (9) members appointed by the Economic Development District of Washington County, including five (5) district members and four (4) members appointed by the presiding officer representing specific business sectors.
