Creates the Uniform Interstate Depositions and Discovery Act to facilitate cross-state legal discovery proceedings in Mississippi

Allows parties to submit a subpoena from another state ("foreign subpoena") to a Mississippi clerk of court, who must then promptly issue a corresponding Mississippi subpoena

Defines key terms including "foreign jurisdiction" (any U.S. state, territory, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, or federally recognized Indian tribe), "subpoena," and "person"

Requires subpoenas issued under the act to follow Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure Rule 45 for service, and applications to enforce, quash, or modify subpoenas must be filed in the county where discovery is conducted

Applies to discovery requests in cases pending on or after July 1, 2011, with emphasis on promoting uniformity among states that enact similar legislation
