Authorizes all prosecutors and public defenders to carry concealed weapons while engaged in the performance of their duties, after completing a weapons training course approved by the Board of Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Training

Permits concealed carry license holders who complete an additional firearms training course from a certified instructor to carry weapons in courthouses (except courtrooms during judicial proceedings), with an endorsement added to their permit

Expanded courthouse carry rights do not extend to places of nuisance, police/sheriff/highway patrol stations, or detention facilities, prisons, or jails

Amends Section 97-37-7 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 regarding authorized carriers of concealed weapons
