Amends Mississippi Code Section 25-3-35 to allow district attorneys to receive supplemental annual pay up to $8,300.00 in addition to their base salary of $95,796.00.

Supplemental funds may be paid from non-state sources including counties, municipalities, federal funds, private grants, foundations, or through Interlocal Cooperative Agreements.

Supplemental payments may be structured as salary, expenses, or fringe benefits and disbursed monthly in the same manner as state-funded salaries.

Funds may be paid from district attorney accounts, transferred to the Department of Finance and Administration, or transferred to counties comprising the circuit court district.

Requires the Attorney General to submit the act to the U.S. Attorney General or U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia for Voting Rights Act compliance; effective upon approval under the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
