Amends Mississippi Code sections 93-9-73 and 93-9-75 to replace references to "bastardy" with gender-neutral language related to paternity and child support proceedings.

Changes section 93-9-73 to reference "proceedings to determine the father of the child" instead of bastardy proceedings, allowing dying declarations from mothers as evidence.

Modifies section 93-9-75 to reference "child support" instead of bastardy prosecutions, allowing courts to award support judgments even after a child's death if the mother is living and unmarried.

Directs the codifier of the Mississippi Code to remove all references to "bastard" or "bastardy" from editorial headings throughout the code and replace them with appropriate terms such as "child" or "parentage" upon republication.

Takes effect upon passage.
