Repeals Section 37-115-45, removing the requirement that the University of Mississippi Medical Center establish a separate Mississippi Burn Center unit for treating burn victims.

Authorizes the Joseph M. Still Burn Centers in Augusta, Georgia and the Mississippi Burn Center at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon, Mississippi to receive reasonable reimbursement from the State Department of Health for uncompensated burn care services provided to Mississippi residents.

Directs the State Board of Health to develop a plan for burn victim services that includes systems for assigning or transferring burn patients to any certified burn center designated by the department and procedures for allocating Mississippi Burn Care Fund appropriations to designated certified burn centers.

Authorizes the Mississippi Burn Care Fund to reimburse for travel, lodging, meals, and other reasonable travel-related expenses incurred by burn victims, family members, and caregivers as established by the State Board of Health through rules and regulations.

Takes effect July 1, 2011.
