Amends Section 85-7-141 of Mississippi Code to clarify that liens may be enforced in the county or circuit court of the county where the property is situated.

Changes the statute of limitations deadline to 12 months from the day the last labor was performed or material/rental/lease equipment was supplied, rather than from when money became due and payable.

Maintains requirement that suits must describe the property with reasonable certainty, set out the nature of contract and indebtedness, and include amount of claim.

Requires filing of bill of particulars showing amount and kind of labor performed, materials furnished, and prices/times (except for written contracts with aggregate prices).

Effective July 1, 2011.
