Amends Section 81-22-3 of the Mississippi Code to exempt attorneys from the Mississippi Debt Management Services Act when providing debt adjustment and credit repair services in the regular course of practicing law.

Exemption applies only to attorneys duly licensed to practice law in Mississippi who are active and in good standing with The Mississippi Bar, not employed by debt management service providers, and do not operate these services as ancillary businesses to their law practices.

Creates a new subsection (x) that broadly exempts qualified attorneys providing debt management services from licensing and regulatory requirements under the Act.

Takes effect upon passage.
