Allows United States District Judges or United States Magistrate Judges from the Southern or Northern District of Mississippi to issue orders admitting law students to limited practice, in addition to state circuit and chancery court judges.

Expands the scope of limited practice to include both state and federal courts in Mississippi, rather than limiting practice to state courts only.

Law students remain subject to the same conditions and limitations as under existing law, including requiring supervision by a licensed attorney, prohibition on direct client representation, and adherence to professional conduct standards.

The expanded authority applies to law students enrolled in legal internship programs or clinical legal education courses and continues during regular school terms and intersessions.

Effective date is July 1, 2011.
