Reenacts Section 37-11-1 of Mississippi Code to allow parents or guardians of twins or higher order multiples to request same or separate classroom assignments if children are in the same grade level at the same school.

School may recommend classroom placement and provide professional education advice but must honor parent's request unless children are different sexes and the school assigns students to different classrooms by sex, or the school board makes a different determination.

Parent or guardian must submit written request to school principal within 14 calendar days after the first day of school or within 14 days of the children's first day of attendance if enrolled after school year begins.

Principal may request school board to determine classroom placement if, at the end of the initial grading period, the principal and teacher(s) determine the requested placement is disruptive to the school.

Defines "higher order multiples" as triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets or more, and deletes a previous repealer provision, making this authority permanent effective July 1, 2011.
