Authorizes county boards of supervisors to grade, gravel, shell, repair, and maintain private roads or driveways used for school bus turnarounds, at their discretion.

In school districts with fewer than 25,000 students, the school board submits written requests for road maintenance to the county board of supervisors.

In school districts with 25,000 or more students, the county superintendent of education (instead of the school board) submits written requests for road maintenance to the county board of supervisors.

Requires the county board of supervisors to record in official minutes the written request, written approval, specific location, and owner name of any road or driveway before performing maintenance work.

Approval for maintenance work is valid for no longer than one year and requires a current list of all active school bus turnarounds in use or contemplated for use during the school year.
