Amends Mississippi Code Section 73-53-7 to create a new pathway for licensing social workers whose licenses expired on September 30, 1990.

Allows persons with expired licenses who would have completed five years of social work practice by July 1, 1993, and are currently employed by Mississippi state, local government, community action agencies, or Head Start agencies to obtain a license.

Requires applicants to apply for licensure before September 1, 2011, and be actively employed in social work or related positions at the time of application.

License shall be issued by the board upon application, proof of employment, and payment of appropriate fees.

Takes effect upon passage.
