Applies to school districts in the three lowest accreditation levels as defined by the State Board of Education, beginning with the 2011-2012 school year.

Requires mandatory implementation of school uniforms and gender-separated classes.

Mandates hiring of school resource officers and school counselors.

Requires home economics and social usage classes for middle school students, business and finance classes with entrepreneurship competitions, and spelling/mathematics/science bees in grades 3-12.

Mandates daily homework assignments in all classes from kindergarten through grade 12, including minimum five vocabulary words per week with spelling, definitions, and sentence usage.
