Commends the Booneville High School Blue Devils Boys Basketball Team for winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 3A State Championship in the 2010-2011 season with a 28-7 record.

Recognizes the team's 60-55 victory over Corinth as the school's first state basketball championship in 48 years since their last title in 1963.

Honors individual players Tre Welch, Kenny Paul Geno, Darius Leach, and Keldrick Lesley for All-Division Team selection, and Kenny Paul Geno and Keldrick Lesley for All-State Team recognition.

Commends Head Coach Michael Smith and Assistant Coaches Brian Windham and Micah Moment for their leadership and coaching of the championship team.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Booneville High School, the coaching staff, athletic trainer Jock Calamese, and the Capitol Press Corps.
