Commends and congratulates Jaycee Tutor from Prentiss County on being selected as the 2010 State Games of Mississippi AT&T Female Athlete of the Year for her performance in slow pitch softball.

Recognizes that the 11-year-old pitcher for the Crossfire team helped lead her squad to a Bronze medal victory at the 2010 State Games.

Acknowledges Tutor's athletic accomplishments including winning the All-Tournament individual medal at the 2010 World Series, membership on multiple state championship teams, and victories at various tournaments in 2010.

Notes that Tutor has overcome significant personal challenges including a birth defect requiring early surgery, serious injuries from a car accident at age four, and the loss of her father at age seven, while dedicating her games to his memory.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Jaycee Tutor and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
