Proposes amendment to Section 41 of the Mississippi Constitution of 1890 to lower the minimum age requirement for Mississippi House of Representatives membership from 21 years to 18 years of age.

Maintains all other eligibility requirements: prospective representatives must be qualified electors, Mississippi residents for 4 years, and district residents for 2 years immediately preceding election.

Amendment to be submitted to voters at the general election on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November 2011.

Ballot explanation will state: "This proposed constitutional amendment will lower the minimum age requirement to serve as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from twenty-one to eighteen."

Attorney General required to submit resolution to the U.S. Attorney General or U.S. Court for the District of Columbia in compliance with the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
