Acknowledges and commends Walter J. Ryan for his service as announcer for Ocean Springs High School Greyhounds football team upon his retirement.

Recognizes Ryan's 30-plus years of broadcasting, including announcing junior high games from 1961-1966 and high school games from 1967-1971 on the public address system.

Notes that Ryan worked alongside his brother Glenn as radio announcers for the past 20-plus years, forming "the Voice of Ocean Springs Greyhounds Football."

Honors Ryan's retirement at the conclusion of the 2010 football season and his dedication to engaging listeners through radio broadcasts on Friday nights.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Walter J. Ryan, Ocean Springs High School, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
