Florence High School Eagles boys soccer team defeated Amory Panthers 3-0 on February 5, 2011, to win the Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 4A State Championship.

Goals were scored by Ryne Riebock, Brandon King, and Brett Harris, with assists from senior Andrew Baggett; this was Florence's first state title in 11 years and third overall state soccer championship.

Head Coach Gray Massey led the team to victory in his sixth year as coach and earned his first state championship title as a coach.

Team roster included 10 seniors, 5 juniors, 3 sophomores, 8 freshmen, and 1 seventh-grader, with Assistant Coach Josh Cavanaugh and Athletic Director Brad Cliburn also contributing to the team's success.

Legislature commends and congratulates the Florence High School Eagles boys soccer team and Head Coach Gray Massey for bringing honor to their school, community, and the State of Mississippi.
