Commends the life of Caroline DeSaussure "Dessie" Anderson Caulfield, an award-winning poet from Water Valley, Mississippi, who died on March 28, 2011, at age 94.

Recognizes her significant contributions to Mississippi's arts community, including serving as President of the Mississippi Poetry Society (1988-1989) and receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005.

Details her published works including Goblet of Dreams (1998), co-editing Magnolia Heart Strings (2002), and an upcoming publication Mother of Her Love.

Acknowledges her diverse career and community service as a librarian, teacher, church pianist and choir director, and active member of literary organizations nationwide.
