Commends Mrs. Betty Harris on her retirement from the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services-Office of Vocational Rehabilitation after more than 20 years of service to the agency and over 40 years of service to Mississippi citizens.

Recognizes Mrs. Harris's professional career assisting individuals with cognitive and intellectual disabilities, including work at Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources for over 13 years, Hattiesburg Public School System special education for over 5 years, and First Guaranty Bank.

Honors Mrs. Harris's achievements with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, including the Most Outstanding Job Placement Award from 1995 to 2007 and recognition as Most Outstanding Job Placement Staff Person of the Year in 2002.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Mrs. Harris and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
