Commends Mary Catherine Langley, a ten-year-old fifth grader at East Central Upper Elementary School in Moss Point, Mississippi, for her spirit of volunteerism and charitable work.

Recognizes Langley's successful collection and donation of more than 700 teddy bears to needy children through her Teddy Bears for Children project, which began two years ago through Internet solicitation.

Notes that 275 teddy bears were donated to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department for use with children involved in traumatic situations including domestic disputes and meth lab calls.

Directs that teddy bears also be distributed to children visiting parents at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center and to shelters and children's hospitals.

Orders copies of the resolution be provided to Mary Catherine Langley and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
