Recognizes Roy Lee Hilton for his athletic accomplishments and being one of three individuals from Hazlehurst, Mississippi, to be a member of an NFL Super Bowl-winning team.

Hilton played defensive end for the Baltimore Colts (1965-1973), winning Super Bowl V in 1971 against the Dallas Cowboys 16-13 and losing Super Bowl III to the New York Jets 16-7.

Hilton transferred to Jackson State University on a football scholarship after playing at Utica Junior College and was drafted in the 15th round by the Baltimore Colts in 1965.

Hilton later played for the New York Giants (setting a franchise record with a 71-yard fumble return for a touchdown) and Atlanta Falcons before retiring as a Johns Hopkins University campus police officer after 20 years of service.

Hilton is one of three Hazlehurst natives—alongside Lawrence Pillers and Lewis Tillman—to win a Super Bowl as an NFL team member.
