Welcomes and recognizes three visiting members of Turkey's Grand National Assembly (Parliament) on March 2, 2011: Congresswoman Fatma Salman Kotan, Congressman Mehmet Muezzinoglu, and Congressman Ahmet Oksuzkaya, all from the Justice and Development Party.

Acknowledges Turkey as a democratic, secular constitutional republic and important U.S. ally with a 550-member unicameral legislature elected for five-year terms from 85 electoral districts.

Recognizes the visiting legislators' professional backgrounds: Kotan as an educated financial advisor with parliamentary experience and mother of three; Muezzinoglu as a physician and hospital founder; Oksuzkaya as a financial advisor and CPA organization leader.

Affirms the House of Representatives' policy to welcome and recognize distinguished legislative counterparts from other democratic countries.

Directs copies of the resolution be provided to each visiting legislator, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
