Commends Linda and Jimmy Cockroft for being named King and Queen of the 2011 Kosciusko Junior Auxiliary Charity Ball held on February 12, 2011, at the Attala County Coliseum.

Linda Cockroft graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Nursing with undergraduate and graduate degrees and works as a family nurse practitioner at Mallory Community Health.

Jimmy Cockroft has served as Mayor of Kosciusko since 1997 and as an alderman since 1993, and holds leadership positions on the Mississippi Municipal League Board of Directors and Mississippi Municipal Service Company Board of Directors.

Both Linda and Jimmy Cockroft are active members of First Baptist Church of Kosciusko and involved in community service and youth activities in Kosciusko.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Linda and Jimmy Cockroft and to members of the Capitol Press Corps.
