Commends the Monroe County Vocational Center Robotics Team for being the first Mississippi students to represent the state in the 2011 VEX Robotics World Competition held April 14-16, 2011, at Walt Disney World's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Team consists of four students (Steven Carter, Nykia Burdine, Linda Harkness, and Olivia Butler) from four different high schools under instructor Mechelle Welch's guidance.

Recognizes approximately 600 teams were expected to compete in the robotics engineering competition.

Acknowledges Billy Loague as Director of Monroe County Vo-Tech and Scott Cantrell as Monroe County Superintendent of Education for their roles in the program serving five high schools and three school districts.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Monroe County Vocational Center, the instructor, director, superintendent, and Capitol Press Corps.
