Amends Section 95-9-1 of the Mississippi Code to expand the definition of "qualified volunteer" to include donation of food along with services, goods, and property/equipment.

Extends tort liability exemptions to "food service organizations for the needy" as qualifying volunteer agencies under 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.

Maintains existing protections for qualified volunteers from civil liability for personal injury or property damage caused by good faith acts or omissions.

Preserves exceptions to immunity for intentional, willful, wanton, reckless, or grossly negligent acts, and for negligent operation of motor vehicles, aircraft, boats, or other powered conveyances.

Takes effect July 1, 2011.
