Amends Section 27-19-56.5 to allow Purple Heart Medal recipients to display distinctive license tags on motorcycles, in addition to other personal vehicles.

Purple Heart Medal recipients may obtain up to two distinctive license plates or tags; the first is exempt from all taxes and fees, while the second is subject to all applicable taxes and fees.

Surviving spouses of deceased Purple Heart Medal recipients may retain one distinctive tag and renew it annually while remaining unmarried, with exemption from all taxes and fees.

Applicants must present written proof of being a Purple Heart Medal recipient to the county tax collector to obtain the distinctive tag.

Violating provisions of the section constitutes a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of at least $1,000 and/or imprisonment in county jail for at least six months.
