Increases salaries for Mississippi judges and district attorneys effective July 1, 2012: Supreme Court Chief Justice to $159,000, Associate Justices to $152,250, Court of Appeals judges to $144,827, and Chancery/Circuit judges to $136,000, with full-time district attorneys at $125,900.

Increases Supreme Court appellate filing fee from previous amount to $200.00 per appeal and adds $40.00 civil filing fee in chancery and circuit courts, with revenues deposited into the State General Fund for judicial salaries.

Adds $40.00 fee for every civil case filed in chancery and circuit courts to be deposited into State General Fund for judicial salary funding.

Imposes $10.00 state assessment on convicted persons in traffic violations, implied consent law violations, game and fish violations, misdemeanors, and felonies to be deposited into State Prosecutor Compensation Fund for district attorney and legal assistant salaries.

Adds $75.00 state assessment for felony convictions to be deposited into State General Fund for judicial salary funding, with all assessments non-suspendable and collected by clerks for monthly deposit to State Treasurer.
