Amends Section 37-15-33 of Mississippi Code to require homeschooled students transferring to public schools to take a placement test for grade assignment purposes.

Public school administrators must administer the test within 30 days of receiving a transfer application, with at least 5 days' notice provided to the applicant.

Students cannot be assigned more than three grades above or below their previous grade level based on test results.

Temporarily assigns students to a grade comparable to their previous school while test results are being processed.

Takes effect July 1, 2011.
