Amends Section 45-6-11 of the Mississippi Code to revise qualifications for part-time law enforcement officers with 25 years of experience.

Part-time officers with 25 years of law enforcement experience (in part-time, full-time, reserve, or auxiliary capacity) who have received part-time certification shall be certified as law enforcement officers without meeting further requirements.

Extends the application deadline for qualification under this provision to June 30, 2011 (previously June 30, 1993).

Does not change existing requirements for other law enforcement officer certifications, training programs, or grounds for certificate suspension or revocation.

Takes effect upon passage.
