Exempts the special motor vehicle license tag for Mississippians who received certain medals for service in or support of operations in Afghanistan from pre-purchase requirements under Section 27-19-44.

Removes the requirement to submit proof that a minimum number of tags will be purchased before the Department of Revenue can prepare or issue the tag.

Removes the requirement to deposit funds with the Department of Revenue for purchasing the tags within three years after the law's effective date.

Adds Section 27-19-56.187 to the list of license tag authorizations exempt from the distinctive license tag requirements in Section 27-19-44(8)(a).

Effective upon passage.
