Amends Section 41-7-191 of Mississippi Code to allow 40 beds in a psychiatric residential treatment facility in DeSoto County to participate in Medicaid, removing previous restrictions that limited participation to 15 beds.

Allows up to 52 acute child/adolescent psychiatric beds in a hospital in DeSoto County to be certified for Medicaid participation, eliminating all prior restrictions or limitations on Medicaid participation for these beds.

Requires only written notice to the State Department of Health and Division of Medicaid for beds to become Medicaid-certified; no additional certificate of need approval is required.

Nullifies any existing statutory, certificate of need, or written agreement restrictions on Medicaid participation for the psychiatric residential treatment facility and acute child/adolescent psychiatric beds in DeSoto County.

Prohibits the State Department of Health from revoking licenses based on the facilities admitting patients participating in the Medicaid program and applies these provisions to any subsequent owners of the facilities.
