Increases daily fine for public officials failing to file required statements of economic interest from an unspecified amount to $50.00 per day, with a maximum total fine of $1,000.00.

Requires the Ethics Commission to provide written notice of delinquency by United States mail or personal service of process when a statement is more than 30 days overdue.

Establishes a 15-day period after receiving delinquency notice for filers to comply before daily fines begin accruing.

Directs collected fines to be enrolled as civil judgments by the circuit clerk and enforced for the benefit of the State General Fund to support the Mississippi Adequate Education Program.

Takes effect July 1, 2011.
