Defines "human being" to include an unborn child at every stage of gestation from conception until live birth for purposes of multiple homicide and assault statutes.

Establishes three felony/misdemeanor offenses for intentionally injuring a pregnant woman: miscarriage or stillbirth (up to 20 years imprisonment or $7,500 fine), serious physical injury to fetus (up to 20 years or $5,000 fine), or minor physical injury to fetus (up to 6 months or $1,000 fine).

Exempts legal medical procedures performed by licensed physicians or medical professionals, including legal abortions performed at the mother's request, and lawfully prescribed medication from the provisions of this section.

Allows prosecution under other applicable statutes in addition to these provisions.

Effective date: July 1, 2011.
