Prohibits Mississippi physicians from billing for the technical component of CT, PET, or MRI imaging services unless those services were actually rendered by the physician or someone under their supervision.

Requires radiological facilities and imaging centers performing diagnostic imaging services to bill patients or third-party payers directly, not the referring physician.

Exempts from these restrictions: services provided free or on sliding scale basis, University Medical Center programs, employer-contracted medical services, and imaging performed in a physician's office or group practice.

Allows physicians to bill globally for both professional and technical components only if the physician did not order the imaging services and provides the professional interpretation.

Effective July 1, 2011.
