Requires all individual and group health insurance policies, health maintenance organizations, self-insured plans, and managed health care entities operating in Mississippi to provide coverage for colorectal cancer examinations and laboratory tests specified in current American Cancer Society guidelines, effective July 1, 2011.

Coverage applies to individuals age 50 and older, and to individuals under 50 who are at high risk for colorectal cancer according to American Cancer Society screening guidelines.

Prohibits insurers from requiring patients to pay additional deductibles or coinsurance greater than those for similar benefits, and mandates reimbursement rates to providers equal to or greater than Medicare rates.

Amends the State and School Employees Health Insurance Plan to include coverage for all colorectal cancer examinations and laboratory tests at frequencies specified in current American Cancer Society guidelines.

Authorizes the State Health Officer to require coverage of additional medically recognized colorectal cancer screening tests and expand the definition of high-risk individuals based on new medical evidence.
