Amends Section 93-9-73 to change "bastardy proceedings" to "proceedings to determine the parentage of a child" regarding admissibility of a deceased mother's dying declarations as evidence.

Amends Section 93-9-75 to replace bastardy-related language with "suit brought under this chapter" regarding the death of a child and court judgments.

Directs the codifier of the Mississippi Code of 1972 to remove all references to "bastard" or "bastardy" from editorial headings and replace them with appropriate terms such as "child" or "parentage" upon republication of volumes.

Takes effect upon passage.
