Removes the previous exemption that allowed such vehicles to skip stopping at street railway grade crossings within business or residential districts

Mandates school transportation vehicle drivers to stop 15-50 feet from railroad crossings, open the service door and driver's window, and look and listen for trains and rail maintenance equipment

School bus drivers who fail to stop and follow required procedures face misdemeanor charges with fines of $100 to $250 per offense
