Senate Bill 3041 Summary

• Appropriates $6,818,240.00 from the State General Fund for administrative expenses of the State Board for Community and Junior Colleges for fiscal year 2012 (July 1, 2011 - June 30, 2012).

• Appropriates $77,525,015.00 from the State Treasury and $160,000.00 for the Commission on Proprietary School and College Registration to support board administrative expenses and postsecondary vocational-technical education operations.

• Appropriates $146,310,060.00 from the General Fund and $38,075,816.00 from the Education Enhancement Fund for aid and support of 15 public community and junior colleges, distributed based on full-time equivalent (FTE) student enrollment with weighted formulas for academic, technical, vocational, nursing, and allied health programs.
