Appropriates $597,298.00 from the State General Fund to the Mississippi Ethics Commission for fiscal year 2012 (July 1, 2011 – June 30, 2012)

Authorizes 8 permanent full-time positions for the Ethics Commission

Requires the agency to maintain accounting and personnel records in the same format and detail as fiscal year 2011, and to submit future budget requests in comparable format

Directs the agency to give purchasing preference to Mississippi Industries for the Blind when bids are equal in price, quality, and service

Authorizes the Ethics Commission to purchase and pay premiums for casualty insurance on agency-owned passenger vehicles
